Activities:
She was a member of the delegation of the Arab Organization for Human Rights, which visited the UAE on October 8, 2012, for six days. The visit mainly aimed at discussing aspects of strengthening the efforts of the state and society of the UAE to support and relief of the Syrian refugees, in addition to discussing some Human rights issues in the UAE and the Arab World.
A Member of a group interested in humanitarian affairs who launched the «Kuwaitis for the Bidoun» initiative in January 2012, aiming at achieving social peace and seeking to activate a program of action dealing with all the immediate issues.
The initiative calls for dealing seriously with the issues of the security card, forged passports, security restrictions, providing job opportunities on fair terms, giving citizenship for those who duly deserve it and dealing humanely with those who do not.
Member of the Kuwaiti civil society team that participated in the Kuwaiti- French 8th Future Forum held in 2011.
A Founding member of the Civil Alliance Against Hate Speech and Promotion Tolerance in the East and West, declared in Tunisia in April 2015, upon the recommendation of the regional workshop held by the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights on "The role of civil society and media in promoting tolerance and pluralism in MEANA" held in 2014.
Participated in the Forum on Promoting the Culture of Tolerance, held in Marrakech, Morocco, as part of the activities of the World Forum on Human Rights on November 28, 2014. She was a member of the preparatory committee.
Participated, during the period March 29-28, 2017, in the experts meeting arranged by the High Commission for Human Rights' office in Beirut, Lebanon. The meeting announced the Beirut Declaration of 18 commitments titled "Faith in Support of Human Rights", regarding the role of clerics in fighting speech of hatred, in addition to the shared commitment to the protect dignity and equality of all human beings.
Participated during the period 2016-2018, in many relief missions for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and delivering assistance to the needy families in Kuwait.
Awards:
The Arab Woman Award for humanitarian efforts in 2013.
